Ingredients
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 chopped jalapeño or green chilli
- 1 clove of garlic
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- ¼ cup diced onion
- a pinch sugar, optional
- to taste salt
- ¼ tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
Method
- Divide the tomatoes into two halves and remove the stem and seeds. Cut them into big pieces. Make smoothie or other drinks by using the removed juice and seeds. Chop the cilantro and onion. Remove the stem and seeds from green chilli and cut it into 4 pieces. Also chop the garlic clove finely.
- In the jar of food processor, add garlic, diced onion and chopped green chilli.
- Add cilantro and diced tomato.
- Add salt, a pinch of sugar and ground cumin. Pour the lime juice over it.
- Process until medium chunky texture or as you desire.
- Tomato salsa is ready.
- Transfer the tomato salsa into a container and let it refrigerate for half an hour before serving.
- Serve with nachos. Enjoy!
