- 9 oz (255g) For the Tartare:
- 1 very fresh salmon fillet
- 1 tsp. ripe avocado
- 1 tsp. minced onion
- 1 tsp. minced fresh parsley
- 1 tsp. minced fresh chives
- 1 tsp. minced small pickled cucumber
- pinch fresh lemon juice, or more to taste
- 10g sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp. For Chuka Salad:
- 1 tbsp. dried seaweed
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. white roasted sesame seeds
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp. wasabi powder
- 1 tsp. lime juice
- pinch rice vinegar
- stevia
- sea salt
- For vegetarian version:
- Add tomatoes instead of salmon
Preparation
- Cut the salmon into chunks, slice the avocado into half, remove the pit and skin then chop into chunks. Mince the onion, parsley, chives, cucumber, and soak the seaweed in the water for 10-15 minutes.
- Combine the salmon, avocado, minced onion, parsley, chives, cucumber, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined, let it marinate for 5 minutes.
- Combine all the Chuka salad ingredients in a bowl, top the salmon tartare with Chuka salad and enjoy!
