Roasted Green Beans with Spicy Tahini Sauce

Ingredients
- 14 oz FOR THE ROASTED GREEN BEANS:
- 1 tbsp. green beans - ends trimmed
- to taste olive oil
- ½ tsp. salt and black pepper
- 1 italian seasoning
- 2 tbsps. Fresh parsley - chopped
- 2 tbsps. FOR THE SPICY TAHINI SAUCE:
- 3 tbsps. clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp. tahini paste
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- hot sauce
- hot water
- Crushed red pepper on top
Method
- FOR THE GREEN BEANS: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Line a large sheet pan with foil or parchment paper.
- Add green beans, olive oil, salt and pepper and Italian seasoning on the baking sheet. Mix everything together. Spread everything out in an even layer and roast for 10-12 minutes or until it’s tender.
- While the green beans are in the oven, go ahead and prepare the spicy tahini sauce.
- FOR THE SPICY TAHINI SAUCE: In a blender jar add all the ingredients listed for the spicy tahini sauce. Blend until is creamy and smooth. It’s about 1 minute. # Scrape the sides of the blender jar periodically while blending it.
- If sauce is too thick, slowly add more water until it reaches consistency you prefer.
- Top it over the roasted green beans and garnish with fresh parsley.
