Spicy Garlic Oven-Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients
- 2 (15-oz) cans chickpeas, drained
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ½ tsp. chili powder
- ¾ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. cumin
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- ¾ tsp. paprika
- to taste sea salt
- ¼ - ½ tsp. Cayenne pepper
Method
- Preheat the oven to 425° F.
- Place the chickpeas in a strainer lined with paper-towel. Let the chickpeas air dry for at least 15 minutes.
- Place then on a baking sheet lined with a parchment paper. Drizzle the chickpeas with some olive oil, stir to coat completely. Season with ½ tsp sea salt.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake until the chickpeas are golden brown and begins to pop, for 2025 minutes with occasional stirring after every 5 minutes.
- Remove them from the oven.
- Season with cayenne, cumin, paprika, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder and more sea salt, if desired.
- Toss the hot chickpeas well with the seasonings in a spice mixture.
- Serve immediately and enjoy! You can even store them in an air-tight container.
