Preparation
- Preheat a large oven at 360 degrees Fahrenheit – 180 degrees Celsius.
Method
- Crust: In a large bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, salt, coconut flour and sugar.
- Just mix until the dough forms.
- Pat and press the crust into a 9-inch pie pan, allowing the crust to return to the sides of the pie pan.
- Bake the empty pie crust for quarter of an hour in a 360-degree Fahrenheit – 180 degree Celsius oven.
- Cover the edges of the pie with foil to prevent it from turning brown in excess.
- Your pie shell will no longer be fully cooked as it will be baked further after filling.
- Once the pie crust is baked, keep it aside and allow it to cool before frosting.
- Filling Instructions: Melt bitter chocolate and butter in a double saucepan.
- Allow the chocolate mixture to cool completely.
- Mix eggs until thick and straw for about 3 minutes, and substitute sugar. For this use an electric mixer.
- Next, add the chocolate mixture to the egg mixture. Low-medium speed mixing until fully mixed.
- Baking: Pre-heat oven at 360 Fahrenheit – 180 Celsius.
- Cover the edges of the pie shell with a foil to prevent them staying on the edges of the crust due to excess browning.
- Add the Fudge to the filling in the baked pie shell.
- Bake the pie until the food is filling and the toothpick inserted comes out with moist pieces for half an hour.
